Weird holiday for October 20th
I would have expected this one to come in sometime during December, but apparently not. Today’s is Brandied Fruit day, which leads me to the question, just how stuck on fruit cake are you? I for one can’t imagine a Christmas going by without a big Christmas cake for dessert. And it has to have marzipan and tons of nuts.
And lucky for me, no one else in the family likes it, so I get it all to myself. Unfortunately, you can only eat so much fruit cake, so a lot of it goes into the freezer. If I looked around the bottom of our freezer, I probably still have a forgotten slab down there!
Any fruit cake lovers out there??
