Today’s Weird Holiday… Cover Anything in Chocolate
Well, that obviously works for me. Okay, so I’m sure that it could get out of hand. I was just watching this video last night where this toddler decided that she liked things covered in chocolate and then proceeded to drizzle her entire bedroom in chocolate syrup.
Luckily, her parents found it extremely funny… at least on their video. Now, I’m not sure how they would feel once they began to clean up the room. The little girl must gave gone through an entire bottle of the stuff!
Stuff for you writers out there…
I thought that I would give you a little project today. It just might come in handy for the next time chocolate shows up in your novel or what have you! ;)
Treat yourself to a good bar of quality chocolate and then slowly let it melt on your tongue. We have a tendency to simply gulp it down without actually savoring it. Well, not this time. We are going to make this last as long as possible.
So, what flavors come to mind while tasting it?? Chocolate is so complex, about a zillion subtleties might occur to you.
And if nothing comes (good old writer’s block) simply sit back and enjoy the chocolate. ;)
