My Summer Face
Last summer you were supposed to look as if you are wearing no makeup on the beach, but it just made me look washed out. Thankfully this summer is a wee bit different. Makeup artists are calling for that old “bee stung” look for the lips and I couldn’t be happier. Not that I ever followed trends anyway. If the trend doesn’t suit me… I deviate. Like this summer.
Here’s what I’m wearing… even to water the garden. I’m constantly running into someone and as most of these women are in their late twenties, I’m not about to become known as that “lady” who lives on our street.
Here’s my picks for this week…
-a sandy shimmer on the lids plus mascara
-Tarte cheek stain for the cheeks
-a deep gloss that plumps up my lips
Takes me all of three minutes tops. It’s all me, but better.
