Whenever I say, “Don’t worry, it could be a lot worse,” my daughter cringes. She has finally forbidden me to use that phrase. She says I don’t understand the true nature of trouble because when I say that, it does get worse.

I have recently been rewatching the “Babylon 5″ television series. I think it may be my favorite science-fiction series because, in my opinion, it presents a more realistic view of the future than another, better known series (you can guess which one I mean).
