The three of us bundled up last night and went for a walk. Britt and her dad were interested in burning calories after dinner, I was looking for a little bit of Christmas decorating inspiration. None of us are too keen on climbing up and stringing lights, and that seems to be all I saw last night. I know that you could use your regular dishes, but there is just something special about getting out holiday dishes that you only use once a year. Yes, I know that it is decadent, but I still want them anyway!
So, here’s an idea. I could use them for our Thanksgiving in October and then again when I celebrate your Thanksgiving later this month. So, you get a two for one special! And what’s wrong with giving thanks… twice a year!

It’s almost time to start packing away summer and while it’s too early to start decorating for Halloween, I wanted to do something to show off the changing season. Here’s what I found…
“Decorate by utilizing the “use what you have” theory! Go through your cupboards and drawers to find items that can be used as props in your fall display.
