I was just reading an article about organizing your kitchen and keeping it neat. That lead me to wonder what kind of character you could build (for your next novel) if he or she had the untidiest kitchen you could ever imagine. As I write this about a zillion possibilities are popping into my mind.
What about a serial killer?

That is a tricky question. If someone was to ask you right this very minute, what would you be able to truthfully tell them. To be honest, I am a very goal oriented person, so I’m always looking at what I need to accomplish next. Is this normal as it just might mean that I’m never satisfied.
What are your thoughts on the topic??

Such a boring topic I know, but I find that if you take a few minutes to review your schedule each day, you get a lot more accomplished by the end of the week. And that means a sense of accomplishment. People are always asking me how I pile so much into my day and it’s all because of how I schedule things.
But, I make sure that I also leave time for play!! No play makes people awfully boring!

I am imagination. I can see what the eyes cannot see. I can hear what the ears cannot hear. I can feel what the heart cannot feel.
Peter Nivio Zarlenga
What would life be with it?? But I have to ask… have you lost some of it along the way? I seem to have had tons when I was a kid, but somewhere along the line, logic took over. Now that’s hardly fair. I am going to have to set aside a little time for some old fashioned day dreaming. Haven’t done that in a long time either!
What was the last thing you day dreamed about?

I don’t know why this is so hard, but having a lesson or two would have made certain parties that I have attended a whole lot easier to get through. Why is it that certain people leave you tongue tied, when there are other times when you simply can’t shut up??

Well actually the idea of managing your time could apply to everyone, not just the writer. I guess the more I think about it, the more I realize that it’s not about managing time so much as learning to manage ourselves. That is the key and I noticed it even more so while on holiday. I am definitely a person who is governed by routine. Not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing!

Anybody can become angry, that is easy; but to be angry with the right person, and to the right degree, and at the right time, and for the right purpose, and in the right way, that is not within everybody’s power, that is not easy.

PATIENCE… which I have very little of these days, but then I read this.
If you add a little to a little, and then do it again, soon that little shall be much.
Hesiod
So, for all of you who have a novel inside of you, maybe this is the way to get it finished.

Now this is my kind of holiday. You stay home… simply because you are well! Kind of reminds me of the days when we used to skip school. Oh, those were fun days. But, in case any teens are reading this entry, it was a very, very bad thing for me to do!!
Anyway, I work at home so I can’t very well take the day off just because I’m “well”, but I can take the afternoon off work and watch that video up there. Yes, I own that one and the earlier version as well. I wonder when someone will remake it yet again?? I love to see how they tweak the story each time! Can’t say which version is my favorite… like the both equally!

“For many people, Thanksgiving, even more than Christmas, is a time to share with others.” You know I never really thought about what that would be like, but after reading the suggestions, it sounds like a way to turn the day into something fun. And if your family is looking to do something a little different, that is covered too.
This is today’s must read! ;) So, what are your plans for Thanksgiving? Any idea how many people will be sitting around your table? Or do you have other plans? Thanksgiving this year can be anything that you want it to be!
