Today’s Weird Holiday – It’s National Parfait Day
Yes, I know that it is freezing cold… at least where I live, so I’m not sure that I will be eating any dessert that is cold. I’m thinking that I should just go and change the holiday to something like Apple Crumble Day… a hot dessert. Okay, I would add ice cream to that, but the dessert starts off steaming, so the ice cream merely cools it down… at least in my mind and as I write this entry, it’s 2:30 in the morning. So, if I’m not makeing much sense, that’s the reason. Yes, just another night when I can’t seem to drift off to sleep.
And it’s not like I shouldn’t be tired. I just spent all of yesterday at the mall. The entire day! And it was great! So, why am I sitting here wide awake??
So, if any of you are so inclined, or you live somewhere… where it is deliciously hot, you just might want to take advantage of the day!
