Our House… Falling Apart after ONE year!
If you have been following the saga of my falling apart house, well, I have an update for you. Last month, we had a home inspector come in and do a thorough going over it. We knew that there was a lot of things wrong, but it never hurts to get an expert in. Well, he was with us most of the day and left with 9 pages of code violations or things that needed to be addressed. And none of them were cosmetic!
The company who put in our stairs just left. Oh wait, they didn’t put in the stairs, someone else did 
but they will be coming in to fix them. The first company according to the company who was just here, didn’t know what they were doing and did them wrong.
Have you ever tried to take out two sets of winding stairs? Well, that’s what I have to look forward to. But before that will happen, the have to remove drywall, rip up carpeting and re-align the stairs so that they are even. And then the drywall will have to be replaced from below and the sides of the stairs and the carpets re-carpeted.
