After a year of complaining about things not getting done, guess what. Suddenly this morning the doorbell has been ringing non stop. And I only expected one person to show up today. So far, we have had the island fixed (third time) the bathtub faucets tightened (you could spin them around), caulking topped up where it had been missing. How can people miss stuff like this?? Like using caulking when they should have use grout??

If you have been following the saga of my falling apart house, well, I have an update for you. Last month, we had a home inspector come in and do a thorough going over it. We knew that there was a lot of things wrong, but it never hurts to get an expert in. Well, he was with us most of the day and left with 9 pages of code violations or things that needed to be addressed. And none of them were cosmetic!

I don’t know if I can blame it on all of the shopping I have been doing lately, or it’s the fact that I have been waking up at 3:30 am every morning wide awake!! The three of us bundled up last night and went for a walk. Britt and her dad were interested in burning calories after dinner, I was looking for a little bit of Christmas decorating inspiration. None of us are too keen on climbing up and stringing lights, and that seems to be all I saw last night. And you might be wondering why?? Well, most of us have wondered on occasion if our breath is enough to send people running. So, I went looking to see what the worse culprets were and did you know that coffee is high on the list of things that can contribute to bad breath! Yes, I know that it is freezing cold… at least where I live, so I’m not sure that I will be eating any dessert that is cold.
