Today’s Weird Holiday
It’s wear something gaudy day! You do have something that is pretty sad in your closet right? I’m thinking strongly about seriously going through my closet and either tossing or giving away some of my stuff. But then you just never know when something you own will suddenly come back into fashion. I planned on Saturday to go out looking for a flat pair of shoes to wear with a dress while haunting the shopping malls. But after a quick trip to the basement, suddenly I spotted a pair of shoes that I can’t even remember buying… and they are “relatively” flat. I wore them all day at the mall and it was only after five hours that my feet began to hurt. That’s not half bad!
So, what might be gaudy today, just might be fashionable tomorrow. Thank goodness I didn’t toss those flats years ago when flats weren’t so popular. I just might have saved myself a few dollars. No, I probably saved myself a lot of dollars! Good thing too because I still spent a lot of money on Saturday anyway!
