Today’s Weird Holiday – It’s Moldy Cheese Day
How many of you have thrown out blocks of cheese because it looked disgustingly moldy? Well, according to my husband who works in the food industry, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the cheese. In fact, before you pick it up at the store, it was covered in mold. It was simply cut off and then packaged. Kind of a creepy thought though isn’t it.
On a different note, have you noticed how popular fondu parties are becoming?? I have a feeling that a lot of people will be getting fondu pots for Christmas. I still have fond memories of fondu parties from my university days. They disappeared for a few years, but they are definitely on their way back!!
