Will Power at Work

“Experience may not be the only thing you’re gaining at work: your morning coffee stop and the office candy dish may play a role in how many pounds you put on. Avoid office temptation with these easy steps.”

O & H Dutch Chocolate Layer CakeI work at home and I think that it’s even harder when you have an entire kitchen at your disposal. That’s why I only bake on Fridays and by Monday, anything sweet has been devoured. If it’s not at your fingertips, you aren’t quite so tempted.

The tips in that article did sound helpful for those who work in an office. But as you said, it’s much more difficult to resist temptation when you work at home (like I do). The water trick has been helpful, and I’ve also found that chewing sugar-free gum can stave off snack cravings for a while.

I wonder if there is such a thing as sugar free bubble-gum. That just might work. Most of the time I chew gum for about ten minutes and then spit it out. Being able to blow bubbles might just do the trick.
