I picked up a Zen Garden for my son (for Christmas) and then decided that I really wanted it for me anyway, so after leaving it in the closet for a few months, I opened the box.

No, I’m not in the mood to cook. I made bread once this week (okay thanks to the breadmaker) and then I made baking soda biscuits last night. Damn this World Cup thing. It is taking over our life!! I know I keep finding bags I like, but this one just popped out at me. I love it! It would hold just about everything I need for a day at the beach… which might not be a good thing as I tend to get carried away!

Seeing this frame just reminded me of how many photos are stuck in boxes or photo albums and never enjoyed. I have tons of wall space in the new house. Maybe I should fill them up with photos that we have collected over the years.

Now is this gorgeous or what? There is just something about lightning storms that fascinate me! If I had my choice, I would love to live on a cliff somewhere overlooking the ocean. What storms I could see with that view!
Now thunder for some reason scares me big time. Just hate the noise, but something that can kill you… doesn’t bother me in the least!

Look what I just found!!
I have heard so much about this drink, but the name kind of turned me off. I thoughts that there really were eggs in the recipe. But I just found a list of ingredients and there is not an egg to be found! Just a bit of chocolate syrup, milk and seltzer. Doesn’t come much easier than that.
