Old Photos
I must have packed them up about a year ago when we first decided to put the house up for sale. Well, we have been in the new house about five months now and I just got around to unpacking binders and binders of old photographs. It was hard to think that so much time has passed, but those little faces that I see in the photos are now all grown up.
If you haven’t looked at your photographs in a while, it might be a nice way to spend a little time this afternoon. And the same goes for old movies that you haven’t watched in a while. Actually now that I think about it, when I was growing up, we often had a movie night where we would gather around the old projector and watch movies of ourselves.
My kids wouldn’t want to spend an entire evening with home movies, but I did catch my son checking out one of the photo albums on a recent visit. By the grin on his face, I think that he considered himself an awfully cute little kid!!
*Can’t seem to slow yourself down?? (Yes, I’m trying to do other things during my day that aren’t work oriented and I’m starting to think that I am a lost cause.) For what it’s worth, I just made myself a pot of coffee and grabbed one of the albums. I’m thinking that this might almost be as good as meditating and a whole lot easier!!
