Questions of the Day

I have a great idea! And I am going to start it today. Part of the fun of asking questions, is getting someone to answer them. That is the popularity of the memes in my opinion; it is the interaction but more than that, it is surprising someone. In other words, it is fun putting someone on the spot!

So in the spirit of the blog meme, I am going to tag people at random. You never know who will get a meme from Daily Jots, but in order to get memed (is that a word?) again, and therefore get another link again (I’m not above blackmail) you have to post your answers.

So here are the questions:

• Do you think that living in Australia is really that much different than living in the United States, England, or Canada?
• What do Australians understand that you wish Americans understood (about any subject you choose)?
• Can you explain, briefly because we know you are busy, what the “great Australian Emptiness,” that the Patrick White quote above mentions, is all about?
