My computer decided to pull a practical joke on me (it disappeared all of my bookmarks, which have been recovered and replaced) and I had to send it to the computer doctor.  That caused me to miss Mardi Gras!  I guess we will have to wait until next year.

I love words. They are the tools of my trade that, hopefully, paint pictures of what I am thinking. I also love the way words can take control and proceed with their own agenda!

I love being a baby boomer.  It isn’t about being the largest population group in the United States – in fact, when considering Social Security, that is a distinct disadvantage!  But the cultural background we grew up in… well, it’s just cool.
