Thinking Outside of the Box:
I rented the first DVD in the “X-Files” series and watched it last night. I guess it was a trip down memory lane. At any rate, I found the ultimate “outside-the-box” thinker in a favorite character from the 1990s. Fox Mulder. He always had the most unique way of looking at things; right or wrong, he stretched the possibility of an explanation to the nth degree. Another reason that I felt the urge to share this quote is that I simply love it. Most of the quotes I bring you are uplifting, motivational, and inspirational – a good way to start, or end, a day. But sometimes I get this streak in me, just like you do, and I bring up my ideas even if they are preposterous, just to mess with someone’s head. Let’s face it. It’s fun. And definitely worth the “millstone of humiliation.” Try to smile today if an insane idea pops into your head – it’s good for a private laugh.
